Phytoshield: Phyto- antioxidant 3209
Phytoshield is a high potency flavonoid and carotenoid phyto- antioxidant formula giving optimum support levels of these two much needed groups of antioxidants. This has been reflected in human and animal studies where carotenoids have been used to prevent the development of precancerous conditions. The evidence suggests that carotenoids possess an intrinsic ability to regulate the key growth controlling genes. This is an area for which our understanding is still very much in its infancy but tremendously exciting in terms of future potential. Certainly until the mechanism is better understood it is wise to respect the healing power in foods and consume them in their natural state as much as we possible can.
