A combination of Caprylic Acid, Oregano Extract, Grapefruit Seed Extract and Lactobacillus Acidophilus with broad spectrum antifungal effects. Caprylic acid is a natural short- chain fatty acid which inhibits the growth of opportunistic fungi including Candida albicans in the small and large intestine. Caprylic acid helps to maintain healthy intestinal micro flora and does not adversely affect the growth of beneficial bacteria. Oregano (Origanum vulgare L.) has been used as a medicinal herb for thousands of years, noted for its beneficial effect upon the digestive and respiratory systems. Oregano contains high levels of phenolic compounds, which provide antioxidant, antimicrobial and antifungal activity. Grapefruit Seed Extract contains antioxidant properties and has been used in the treatment of Candida, parasite and fungal infections and traveller's diarrhoea. Lactobacillus Acidophilus is a probiotic beneficial for the health of the digestive system. Lactobacilli are believed to reduce the growth of yeast organisms within the digestive tract and promote a favourable gut flora.
